Destination Concierge (Independent Contractor) - South Beach ~

Job Description:
The Destination Concierge position requires a dynamic,
innovative, passionate yet flexible service-oriented professional
who is extremely organized and familiar with local activities and
events. Being the face of the company will give them the
liberty to shine and create amazing and personalized experiences to
an affluent clientele. This individual will entrust a
positive rapport with our membership by actively anticipating their
needs while professionally communicating all pertinent information
to the member and operations team.
Job Requirements:
- Attend and actively participate in weekly calls to ensure
consistent communication with designated Operations Manager in
regards to questions or concerns regarding property management,
pre-arrival planning, member services and member satisfaction and
resolutions.
- Participate in Worldwide Destination Team Calls to understand
new updates and procedural changes as well as offering constructive
suggestions to better the overall experience for the staff and
members (minimum of two calls per month).
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions and special
projects requested by Destination Manager or Operations Team.
- Build a flawless new property transition with fellow team
members and serve as a backup when necessary.
- Support destination emergency efforts for a 24/7 operation to
ensure the exceptional communication and service recovery.
- Provide extraordinary communication and service delivery for
members from planning to execution to create memorable
experiences.
- Identify and build partnerships with strategic vendors to
create memorable activities.
- Assist with creative resolutions for residential and member
challenges that may impact the member.
- Member (Pre-arrival): Review member confirmation, member resume
with special notes, reach out to Personal Vacation Advisor
for
clarification then reach out to member for introduction call to
set a time to create a personalized itinerary that will be
memorable (usually begins 30-60 days prior to member arrival).
- Member (Pre-arrival): Reach out to member 2-4 days prior to the
members' arrival, review their personalized itinerary double
checking everything and finalize any last minute requests.
- Member (Prior to Arrival): Conduct pre-arrival
housekeeping/maintenance inspection and stage home for arrival to
include stocking home with groceries. Communicate with
Personal Vacation Advisor, members and guests to finalize and
personalize itinerary.
- Member (Arrival): Grocery shopping, delivery of groceries,
amenity presentation with notecard, residence inspection, meet and
greet, residential orientation, itinerary review for
accuracy, review housekeeping schedule, confirm any last minute
additions or changes.
- Member (Stay): Accessible 8:00am - 8:00pm for all special
requests or changes in schedules, accessible 24/7 for
emergency response and on call duties, 1st morning
follow-up call, mid-stay call, preparation of member incidental
folio.
- Member (Departure): Presentation of member incidental folio for
signature prior to departure, confirm departure time, confirm
transportation times with member and transportation company, wish
member a fond farewell with safe travels and a speedy return (when
possible be at the residence to assist with luggage and ensure
arranged transportation is prompt). Post recap to Denver
office. Personal thank you letter when applicable, pictures
and stories for Inspirato marketing if permissible by
members.
- Open, install, oversee, inspect and maintain the wellbeing of
our residences to ensure impeccable property management and propose
preventive maintenance measures when doable.
- Oversee property management projects to establish timelines and
meet deadlines.
- Govern performance of 3rd party contractors including
housekeeping, property managers, and maintenance providers.
- Stage residences prior to the member arriving and after their
departure, for tours, press or photographers.
- Market our branding throughout the residence.
Desired Factors or Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree; preferably in hospitality management or
business administration
- Honest, respectful, trustworthy, dependable, caring and
fun
- Excellent oral, written communication and listening skills
- Ability to multitask inside an ever changing environment
- Proficient with communication technology (MS Office Suite, chat
applications, etc.)
- Foreign language skills, especially Spanish and French, are a
plus
- Hospitality and guest service experience, including a solid
knowledge of the local area
- Organization and high level of attention to detail
- Upbeat, positive disposition with genuine "can do"
attitude
- Understanding of cost and controls and experience in
implementing the same
- Flexible schedule, including long days, nights, holidays
and weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have a reliable
vehicle
